BILL
WEBER AND CYNTHIA BECKER
Bill
Weber, the second son of Herman and Jean Weber, was born June 29, 1955 in St. Louis, MO. Bill was a brilliant child,
ahead of his time. He is a traveler at heart and enjoys frequent changes of scene and situation. After high school,
Bill spent the next seven years traveling and attending five different institutes of Higher Education on three different continents,
receiving a degree in Psychology, Fine Arts, and a Masters in Linguistics. Bill found himself in a number of diverse occupations
ranging from a farm worker in Iowa to an ice cream truck driver in Kansas City, not to mention, an artist in Bangkok, Thailand
and a teacher in Alexandria, Egypt.
While teaching English in St. Louis, Bill
Weber got involved with one of his students. She received the honor of becoming the mother of Bill’s first-born
child, Chico N. Weber. Soon after Chico was born Bill met another woman. She received the honor of becoming the
mother of Bill’s second-born child, James M. Weber.
Bill suddenly found himself
on his own with two sons to raise and two mothers to contend with. It was at this point that Bill finally met his sole-mate,
Cynthia S. Becker.
Cynthia and
Bill have been together ever since. Through the thick and through the thin, she has helped him raise his two colorful little
toddlers into two fine young men. And through the years their romance has grown ever stronger. Among their many accomplishments together, they’ve become Master Practitioners
& Certified Trainers of NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming). They’ve recorded tapes, published numerous articles,
traveled and taught together in cities all across North America. Together they continue to bring dreams into reality.
Chico and Jim look and act as different as night and
day and yet have so many things in common. For example: They both have great artistic abilities as well as creative problem solving skills. Both
of them share our love of animals and nature. They are both left handed. Both Chico and Jim are excellent cooks and love to
try new recipes. And they are both good looking young men. But it is nearly impossible to get either one of them to keep their
rooms clean.
Chico is best known for his mechanical and engineering mind, artistic
abilities, and his love of Science. He has a powerful ability to see future outcomes and a steadfast determination to reach
his goals. He is a gentleman and a scholar with a sense of humor that is both charming and disarming.
Jim lives more in the moment. He is best known for his unending energy, innocent charm,
and an ability to fit in anywhere he goes. He has a very sharp mind, with a broad range of interest, and a talent for relating
to people and situations. He is always ready to go new places and try new things. He is very good with his hands and has a
wonderful curiosity and enthusiasm for life.
Chico and Jim are both honest and hard working, and they treat people fairly.
And we are very proud of both of them and We are proud to be their parents. It is our hope that they remain the best of friends
for life.
